Mine is used as an add-on cage/hospital cage. It makes a great carrier as well. I happened to cut some of the wires to allow a tube to fit through, then sealed it off so it was safe and secure. Definitely worth the price, there’s cute little details and it’s pretty sturdy. The bars came a little bent but they hold their shape well when bent back into place so it was an easy fix. The wheel is super quiet and is easy for even babies to run on. A bit on the smaller side so I wouldn’t plan on having this as your only wheel. Totally worth the cost, but would consider getting the medium or large if you intend to use it as a main cage for mice only. Still not appropriate for hamsters or gerbils. Would still be a great cage to have on hand in case of emergency. Review: Smaller that thought - It would be ok for a temporary home for a hamster but not permanent due it being very small. It is very cheaply made but easy to install and easy to clean.
