I have seen some reviews regarding stacking 3 tiers and the strength of the racks. As far as the stacking, I like that they are designed as separate units. I found no problems with the way they fit together, they're easy to connect and remove if you place the racks in the designated area. I start with mini loves of bread on the bottom tier. 2-3 loaves depending on the size of my pans and I found they were quite durable. I use the 2 upper racks for my cookies. The wires are a little further apart and as I often make smaller ones, I wondered if they would fall out. They still work fine and I've had no problems. These will be so awesome for the Christmas gifting as I bake for my husbands office party, supervisors and employees. There are quite a few so being able to use these racks for several items at once is a big plus. I've never used stackable racks and I'm so glad I decided to purchase some. I would recommend these.. though I gave the sturdiness a 4 star, they are perfect for the lightweight but I doubt they could withstand the weight of larger, heavier items. Perhaps one loaf in the center on the bottom rack.. These work perfectly as cooling racks. They are not super sturdy but hold up well when stacked. I'll be baking cakes soon and I think they will hold fine. They fold up well and don't take a lot of space to store.
