Review: STRONG. Exactly what I was looking for. - Folded flat on the wall, this looks "nice" in the laundry room. You can use clothespins on it (not small ones, though-- they need to have a decent sized "hole" at the pin end), but we also just hang things over each rung. It was not hard to put together (though the directions aren't clear so I did have to re-do one section of the supporting arm as I'd done it backward). But in the end, this is attractive, very sturdy, and holds a lot of laundry. The only thing I don't like is that I''ll probably whack my head on the edge when it's not at full height. To make sure I don't blind myself standing up from emptying our dryer one of these days, I've attached a small piece of pool noodle to each end piece. Not that cool looking, but at least I know it's safe. If you have a bigger laundry room this probably won't be an issue for you. In taking the photo just now, I noticed the screws are loose in a few places. Hopefully a good tightening will do the trick and they'll stay tight (I thought they were already tight). Anyway, that's something I can deal w/. The space-saving, eco-friendly parts outweigh an occasional loose screw. I recommend this product.

**Q: What are the exact dimensions of this product? What is the width, height, and depth when opened?**
A: Just like the descriptions says - "Width 30 1/2" x 22 1/4" x 18 1/2" " The 18.5" is the height.  The way I use it - it looks exactly like the top picture.

**Q: how much weight can this hold? lots of damp towels perhaps?**
A: If you secure this to the wall with anchors, you can hold roughly about six or seven damp towels on the rack. I've used it for sweaters, towels, quilts, etched and haven't had any problems. I did, however, use T anchors and longer screws than what was provided.

**Q: Does this expand 22" out from the wall?  What is the weight capacity?**
A: Once mounted,  the front edge of the rack is 22 1/4" from the wall.  No idea about weight capacity.

**Q: is this true " Very flimsy. The frame is slightly bent whenever it folds down to the wall--which is the whole point of this style of drying rack."?**
A: It isn't flimsy.  We can fit quite a few clothes on this. We still have a floor drying rack as a backup but you can easily fill all the rows. I'm just careful of how heavy the items are since it is in the wall.  It does seem to have a little problem going into slots on the wall but I'm sure if you put some wd40 they would slide in easier. Overall it works and gives me more floor space, which was my goal.

Folded flat on the wall, this looks "nice" in the laundry room. You can use clothespins on it (not small ones, though-- they need to have a decent sized "hole" at the pin end), but we also just hang things over each rung. It was not hard to put together (though the directions aren't clear so I did have to re-do one section of the supporting arm as I'd done it backward). But in the end, this is attractive, very sturdy, and holds a lot of laundry. The only thing I don't like is that I''ll probably whack my head on the edge when it's not at full height. To make sure I don't blind myself standing up from emptying our dryer one of these days, I've attached a small piece of pool noodle to each end piece. Not that cool looking, but at least I know it's safe. If you have a bigger laundry room this probably won't be an issue for you. In taking the photo just now, I noticed the screws are loose in a few places. Hopefully a good tightening will do the trick and they'll stay tight (I thought they were already tight). Anyway, that's something I can deal w/. The space-saving, eco-friendly parts outweigh an occasional loose screw. I recommend this product.

Update: I still love these drying racks! Holding strong, no complaints whatsoever. I'm so glad I bought these. I love these drying racks. I've had them in my cart for years, not willing to pay for 3 racks at a time. The rack is high quality stainless steel material. The instructions do a poor job of identifying minor details concerning assembly, so you will need to read the instructions carefully. However the only penalty is having to take it apart and put it back together a couple times. Perhaps the real issue is it looks intuitively obvious as to how to assemble, but some minor details concerning the parts that are not obvious, end up causing so re do's. One of the steel rods was not threaded properly preventing me from using it, but I do not want one so close to the wall, so no harm no foul.
