**Q: What is the maximum size wire gauge (awg) you could use to make a connection with the 100 amp version?**
A: Mr Mind Floss, seems like you pride yourself on knowledge, I am not an any kind of electrical engineer of any sort. But if i am just replacing an existing relay due to it being defective, just use the existing wires. As you probably know or should, you can't use 4 or 2 AWG wires( that type of gauge us used for actual high voltage  and high amperage devises). Your voltage requirements  on the devise is  3-32 V input & 5-60V output. Long story short just replace your deferctive relay, use existing wires and don't worry about their design. I am sure they know wha they were doing

**Q: Is the relay really labeled in reverse on in with the input / output???**
A: This took a while to get my head around, applying the control voltage to the input, allows the other two terminals to conduct power. I don't look at it as output. As far as connecting your load, you do need to make sure the Power leg and Load leg are on the correct terminals.

**Q: I bought an SSR-60DA. At 19 Amps in 12 min the heat sink was 162º.
Any engineers, think that's working and safe? Thanks**
A: That seems a bit warm but a couple of questions. Is the ssr fully on? Some of these take a lot of drive at high power conditions and act like a resistor, generating heat if not fully driven on. Second, how good is the heat sink and it’s attachment to the ssr? Good thermal bonding and a big enough heat with adequate air circulation are important at these power levels. Good connections are also important especially in load side connections.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AA vs AD is a big difference

This controller works perfectly. I made the mistake of ordering the AA model meaning I had to provide AC voltage to switch the relay on. Ooooooops. I really needed the AD version to switch AC using 5v DC logic. I had a spare relay on hand to switch the AC on/off.

Exactly as advertised. Shipped fast enough, packaged well enough and works fine.I used this to run my well pump using a 110V trigger from an electronic pressure switch unit. I wanted to use this to power the well pump as it will be more bullet proof on the amperage running the well pump, though the well pump is only at 4.5 amps. If you have a heavy amp draw you might consider adding a little computer fan to the heat sink and make it more bullet proof to heat. Good little unit, good price and very handy.
