Leash. Perfect for trail walks when i want to drop lead and let her get that off leash feel but have the ability to grab leash if she is getting too far off. 25 ft. Is too much leash if your intent is to hold on at all times. Overall quality snd durability it great. **Q: 15 ft (pack 1), what is the thickness?** A: It looks to be close to be 1/2 Inch squares thick **Q: Will this leash tangle when fed out through a backpack?** A: I don’t believe so as long as it was put in the backpack curled up or nicely. Mine have not tangled but I am very particular with my dog equipment **Q: Are the widths personal preference or are there recommendations based on the weight of the dog?** A: Both to some degree. Definitely use the narrower widths for smaller pups, and larger for larger dogs but the in between widths can be of personal preference. The strength is amazing no matter what the width. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get This Leash!! *by on Reviewed in the United States November 25, 2025* After owning this leash for 6 months, I am very happy with this purchase! I used to train dogs professionally and have used all kinds of dog leashes including nylon, leather, rope, and even chain. I had never tried a biothane leash until this one, and it out performs even expensive leather leashes. It's sturdy and feels good in your hand without feeling too stiff. It hasn't shown any signs of cracking or wear, and the metal attachments feel high quality and have handled pulling from strong dogs without failure (which was an issue in many reviews of other biothane brands). Best of all, unlike leather, it doesn't stink when it's wet or muddy, and is incredibly easy to clean with a cloth and mild soap and water. I would not recommend letting your dog bite or chew on any leash, but this can handle a bit more teeth than say a nylon or rope leash before it needs to be replaced. For $20, this is a great, reliable leash for both experienced and new dog owners! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made, brass hardware and easy to clean. *by on Reviewed in the United States February 6, 2026* I love these leashes. I have a 20' long line, a green 4', a blue 2' and a yellow 6'I have always used leather leashes for my dogs, i bought the 20' long line first. I later replaced my 6' leather leash with the 6' yellow leash. It is now my go to training leash. They are well made and if they get soiled and dirty i simply rinse them and use a clorox wipe on it and i feel good about it being clean. They are sturdy, well made and have brass hardware. They are very strong (my dog is 150 lbs) they are not chew proof as noted in the description but he doesnt chew the leash. Also the variety of colors are great, I chose the safety yellow as my main training leash as anyone can clearly see us coming and see my dog is on leash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality lead line & perfect size *by on Reviewed in the United States September 21, 2026* This is the BEST lead line. I have tried at least 3 others that I wasn’t happy with at all. Less expensive but not nearly as good. The half inch width perfect & not fabric so it’ll hold up well for my 53 lb. doodle. It’s easy to handle, too. Great choice. ## Frequently Bought Together - Viper Biothane Working Tracking Lead Leash Long Line for Dogs,Black 2 Colors ,6 Sizes - Hyrew FANTESI Dog Tug Toy Dog Bite Pillow Jute Bite Toy Dog Pull Toy Interactive Toys for Medium to Large Dogs(style 2) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/24134374-viper-biothane-working-tracking-lead-leash-long-line-for-dogs](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/24134374-viper-biothane-working-tracking-lead-leash-long-line-for-dogs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
