If you make the “mistake” of cleaning them in a dishwasher, the “etching” disappears. So it was merely embossed somehow. You end up with a nice CLEAN glass, free of all pesky decoration. So if you bought them for their SHAPE, good on you. If you’re buying them for their decorative map, never wash them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very pretty glasses! *by N***B on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2017* These were purchased as a birthday gift for my husband, and they're very nice! Not only did they arrive quickly, but they were extremely well packaged. The etching is lovely and the shape fits nicely into the hand. I might buy another set of these so we have some for company. Highly recommended ### ⭐⭐ Globe Doesn’t go all the way around the glass *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2018* There was a few bubbles in the glass and the globe does not go all the way around the glass which is the only reason I purchased this slightly more expensive version compared to another on amazon! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/24230654-colibyou-globe-whiskey-glasses-12-oz-350ml-2-pack](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/24230654-colibyou-globe-whiskey-glasses-12-oz-350ml-2-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
