No matter what I make him for lunch, regardless of what packaging/dishes/containers I use, it will fit inside this. It not only holds a lot but also is flexible enough that it will give to accommodate even larger square shaped containers that may not normally fit.It's easy for kids to zip up, and love the fact that it doubles as a placemat. I throw it in the wash with his school uniforms every Saturday and don't have to worry about the germs and bacteria that would normally be covering his lunchbox.We're reusing his again this year because it's still in great shape, and I purchased this pink and black one for my daughter who is starting school this year. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome concept! They are super excited that they have a "transformer" lunch bag! I love that it folds out to a place mat - very cool concept. I also love that it folds flat for storage and is machine washable - super awesome for me as the mom - washer and keeper of all the things. I do feel like the internal storage capacity could be bigger, though. Right now, it's great for my kids' lunches, but I don't think it would hold an adult size lunch - depending on what you eat, of course. I put a little thermos in there to hold my son's spaghetti-o's and it took up about 70% of the available space. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great idea, not perfect *by J***Z on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2015* I really wanted to love everything about this lunch bag. I ordered the regular size for my 9 year old son. I can fit the same amount of food in this bag that we could in a standard kid's size lunch bag. My son typically has a small water bottle, a sandwich and an apple or orange, etc, and yogurt and an ice pack, and it all fits pretty well. My son only opens one flap when he uses it because of his limited space at his school lunch table, but it still provides a clean surface for him. I love that it is washable and line dries so quickly. My biggest complaint is the bulkiness/shape.
