When I took them out of the vinyl zip package, I felt that it was awfully light for a queen-sized set. And, they had a terrible odor, possibly from the vinyl package. Although I must admit, I have never experienced this before. I laundered the bottom sheet and the pillow cases and then there was no odor. They did not seem to shrink very much. The description is of a satin finish, but the sheets do not have a satin feel at all. They are rough and actually feel like muslin sheets. In the photo I had ordered a set in the blue, but had to change the order to white when the seller informed me that the blue was not in stock. I can say that the deep pocket (21" ) holds true. Otherwise, these are not what I anticipated and I recommend buying them with caution.I was very surprised because this seller had all positive feedback and that was why I purchased the sheets from them. ### ⭐⭐ Too short! Only standard pocket depth. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2014* Without a microscope I can't certify whether these were 400 count or 1200 count. They were smooth enough, certainly. The problem is size. The fitted sheet is tight on my 13" foam mattress. There's no way the pocket would fit a 21" deep mattress. Worse, the flat sheet is too short for my standard queen bed. My 6' tall husband likes to have the edge of the flat sheet ALL the way up to the top edge of the mattress. If you do that with this sheet there's only about 4" to tuck under the mattress at the bottom edge. If my mattress were actually 21" deep, I couldn't tuck in the flat sheet at all without "short sheeting" the bed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deep Pocket Egyptian Sheet Set *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2011* The sheets really did have deep pockets and they fit my pillow-top mattress quite well. The sheets are soft and pleasant to sleep on. I like the color, but would have liked other options in addition to the blue. It would have been nice to have been able to purchase an additional set of pillow cases. The pillow cases fit the pillows nicely. I didn't have to wrestle with them to get them on the pillows, so that was nice. The only problem I had with the set of sheets is that one of the seams at the pocket tore on day number two.
