They definitely do take the blue out - so much so, that if I am playing a game on my computer, I have to take them off because I will make a mistake due to the colored playing pieces. Also, my eyes have been a little dry lately, and I didn't realize how tired my eyes would get when watching TV. When I put them on to watch TV, I felt a definite relaxing of my eyes. I never knew I wasn't able to open my eyes all the way when watching TV, but my eyes opened up all the way, and they felt soothed. Review: Good UV protection - These are decent quality and the temples can be adjusted for length. They easily fit over my wire frame glasses and are lightweight plastic so the are not uncomfortable.
