They will safely handle over 200 watts in most applications and the wire is flexible in the cold. I have set it outside as a reality check when it was 18.3F degrees and it flexes essentially the same as at room temperature. The copper itself is very fine strands and will likely never fail from normal use flexing. It solders easily with my 40 watt soldering iron.
