A bit more function is really handy. The bagel setting only toasts one side which is really handy. It would have been cheaper to buy a normal four slice toaster, but I really like the increased bread capacity with this, means I can fit larger slices like sourdough without having to flip it half way resulting in a very dark middle and pale outsides.
