I use my hearing aids all day every day. With few rare exceptions, my batteries are lasting a full 10 days each even though I am down to one 8 pack left.I suspect that the brand of hearing aid can make a difference in some of the user reports due to the power draw of some hearing aid circuits but few reviewers mention their hearing aid manufacturer. My hearing aids are Phonak and I use them for professional music playing and recording rather than just for speech even though they have a speech setting. I also have a second setting that I use almost exclusively calibrated to respond on a flat frequency curve so that I can master music consistent with what normal hearing would perceive. In a crowded auditorium I can hear the "ting" of a triangle in a concert performance and so many people around me just stare blankly when I ask if they can hear that tiny but sweet triangle because they cannot.
