Black Metal Outdoor Patio Plant Stand 5 Tier Shelf Unit

Not bad for the price. Assembly instructions lousy but pretty easy to figure out once time is given. Took 30 minutes to put together. A ratchet allen driver is REALLY HELPFUL, as the simple clumsy allen wrench provided is not the ideal tool. AND, if possible anchor to the wall, (we did with a simple hook screw and a large S hook, because we have a cat that likes to tangle with plants), so not to topple the entire shelf over. Overall, I would like a slightly wider and taller stand, and especially an adjustable shelf system to accommodate slightly taller plants (11" not quite tall enough to accommodate some smaller yet taller plants) (which I couldn't find), but we'll adjust accordingly. For under 100 bucks, it works well. If possible, weight the bottom shelf or two with heavy objects besides plants, unless you don't have cats and your window sunlight hits the lower portions of the shelf (which ours does not), which can accommodate other plant material. Overall, I'll give this 4 stars and a B rating.

We're very happy with this metal plant stand. It's not quite as nice as the one it replaced, which was wrought iron (it had deteriorated over time due to lack of maintenance), but it serves its purpose well. I needed to get my smaller plants off the ground due to lack of space.The stand was easy for my husband to put together, although he stated at the time that the instructions were terrible. He said since he has experience in putting things like this together, it wasn't difficult, but if a person without such experience were to put it together he/she might find it difficult.Overall, we're happy with the stand. Time will tell how well it lasts.

What a great deal! This plant stand is very sturdy and simple to put together. I had it all set up in a matter of 20 minutes with just a quick glance at the instructions. It looks incredible. For anyone who has never put anything similar to this together I will offer a tip: Don't tighten down the rods until all have been attached. Then go around and tighten each one a few times until they are all tight. I have several pieces of concrete art on mine now and it handles the weight very well.

Not sturdy at all. Someone walked by it and the entire thing fell down. Lost all my plants. And I love plants.

Racks are a little flimsy, but I was happy that it was nice and tall. I need to secure it to the walls so it does not accidentally fall on little people who may tug at it. When installing, pay attention to where the holes are in the supports. The side rails meant for the back side have more holes than the front.

The instructions are simple enough, but it took a few minutes to figure out why one side of the holes were slanted when we began to screw the poles in. I thought they were defective, but now I'm guessing that they were slanted to make the whole structure more sturdy. If I need another one, I'd purchase it again.

I am using this for plants in my bedroom. I hung grow lights on the shelves and it works great. Shelves can be taken out for tall plants. It looks good. It was packed well and easy to assemble. I have the shorter one also and liked it so well I got the tall one

This shelf is easy to install, solid, and sleek looking. I installed it, alone, in under half an hour and it holds our potted plants without a problem. It's very sturdy yet light enough that I can move it by myself. Worth every penny.
