When you try to engrave resin or plastic most lasers just turn the surface white. I wanted the design to show up black on the surface of the jug so I bought this spray. When it arrived I though I got the wrong product because the aerosol can was small and only a couple of ounces, I'm sorry to say but the pictures make it look like you're getting an average sized aerosol spray can. I applied the spray to the water jug following the instructions. The spray is an opaque grey and takes about 20 - 30 seconds to dry. Every time I applied it, it only took a single pass to provide full coverage on the hobby surface. Basically it takes very little of the product to prep your product for engraving/marking. Once I worked out the exposure setting for my laser (atomstack x7 pro) these are the results I got.
