We repair a lot of VW products and when the new style parking brake sysytem ( the emergency brake and rear calipers are electronically operated ) we needed a tool to provide efficient and reliable service. We encountered many systems that this was not compatible with. That is the reason I rate it as just a fair product. We ended up purchasing another system that works perfectly. Usually 99 percent of the products I purchase through Amazon do the job well and cost effective.
