You can make sure that all connections are gold plated, but that's really required. This can be verified by doing an A/B test using only the attenuation cable, and then the attenuation and aux cable added, and seeing the difference in audio spectrograph software (i.e. audition, or any other DAW). If you're happy with the result, have fun with your new setup! **Q: Does this cable work with a Zoom H1 recorder?** A: Yes. It's basically an attenuator cable...not sure why they label it for specific products.
