You can also use after an oil change, but TECHRON recommends NOT to use more than twice during a new oil change. I use during the last 500 miles (whole bottle) on near empty tank & run the car until the reserve light comes on. Been using this for at least 20 years. If the car runs rough, you can pour in a bottle twice, like every 2,500 miles, or repeat the process, whichever you want to do. For best results, try & do as much highway driving after pouring in & make sure to drive at least 5-10 miles to get it up in the lines & all before turning the engine off. Since you're going to be at the gas station & pouring in before refilling the tank, this is a good time. Good Luck! **Q: What is the ratio of additive to fuel? Can it be used in nonethanol fuel?** A: 1 oz per 10 gallons. It can be used in nonethanol fuel. **Q: Can you reseal the 20 oz bottle and use the rest later?** A: You can't physically reseal the paper tab, but yes you can screw the cap back on & it will keep it sealed for later use. However, this will not guarantee the same 5 year shelf life. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ i swear by the stuff! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 4, 2026* i have a 2020 kia optima with around 130,000 miles on it and i swear by this. every time after an oil change and every x amount of miles and my gas mileage goes from 26mpg to 34.the price is good. is extremely easy to use. and i swear it works ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Have used for years in autos, outboards and gas bikes *by on Reviewed in the United States August 12, 2026* Have been using this product for years. Dissolves carbon and cleans fuel injectors.I know this because after about 100 miles of adding this to my tank a piece of carbon wedged itself between the gap in two of my spark plugs. Truck began to run very rough so i R&R'd all my plugs and found the carbon in 2 plugs. Also use it in a motorized bike and 2 outboard motors.I think its better than Seafoam for automobiles. Just my opinion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by on Reviewed in the United States September 26, 2026* Excellent product. Highly recommended! I used it on my 2014 Honda Accord 2,0 & the car ran really smooth & light. I put 2 bottles BUT with 3,000 miles interval. I also saw a slight improvement in my fuel efficiency. Highly recommended. ## Frequently Bought Together - Chevron Techron High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner, 12 oz, Pack of 1 - Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner, 12 oz, Pack of 1 - Chevron Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner, 12 oz, Pack of 1 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253189739-chevron-techron-high-mileage-fuel-system-cleaner-12-oz-pack](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253189739-chevron-techron-high-mileage-fuel-system-cleaner-12-oz-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
