Printers do not usually have this larger B type Female connector and this cable will not plug into those devices. Look at your Female B connector to see if it the USB 2.0 B Type connector or the larger USB 3.0 B Type connector. **Q: What printers are the compatible with?** A: This cable does not work with printers. Most printers do not have a USB 3.0 cable because most printers do NOT even need USB 3.0. The information that is transferred between the printer and the PC is so minimal that the extra bandwidth USB 3.0 has would go to waste. Which is why the standard for printers is USB 2.0. **Q: Will this cord work with HP 3632?** A: The description says this "Backwards compatible with high speed USB 2.0 devices as well as USB 1.1" so it should work with 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1. **Q: How do use connect to monitor?** A: This is an upstream USB cable for an in-monitor USB hub… ao you can connect this one USB-A to your desktop, and your keyboard and mouse to the monitors USB ports and have a cleaner desktop set-up. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics USB-A to USB-B 3.0 Cable, 4.8Gbps High-Speed with Gold-Plated Plugs, 6 Foot, Black - Anker Powered USB Hub for Laptop, 7 Ports USB 3.0 Data Hub, With 36W Power Adapter and BC 1.2 Charging Port for iPhone 7/6s Plus, iPad Air 2, Galaxy S Series, Note Series, Mac, PC, USB Flash Drives - Cable Matters 5Gbps USB 3.0 Cable - 6ft, USB A to B Cable, USB3 Cord with Type-B 3.0 Connector for Hard Drive Enclosure/Built-in Hub and More, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253385514-amazonbasics-usb-3-0-cable-a-male-to-b-male](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253385514-amazonbasics-usb-3-0-cable-a-male-to-b-male) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
