When a huge, six-and-a-half-foot floating coffin with the words BEWARE! DO NOT OPEN THIS COFFIN arrives, can you guess what happens next? The Quest to discover the treasure of Hiccup's ancestors begins and Hiccup needs to find it before Alvin the Treacherous gets his hands on it. But when a dragon called the Monstrous Strangulator is thrown into the mix, things are about to get seriously SCARY. How to Train Your Dragon is a major award-winning DreamWorks film series. Review: Perfect - I received this on time and in a good shape. Besides, the story is great for working on an introduction to literature for children. ## Features - Hachette Kids Hodder Children - Proper binding cover makes it durable - Travel friendly packaging - Safe for children ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #16,057 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #670 in Fantasy for Children #979 in Action & Adventure for Children | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 547 Reviews | ## Images ![How to Train Your Dragon: How To Be A Pirate: Book 2 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1kOft48tTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Para ser nuevo, estaba un poco maltratado. *by )***) on 19 August 2025* Ya había leído los comentarios, pero decidí arriesgarme, la verdad están muy bonitos pero vienen sin un plástico protector. El rojo llegó muy bien, pero el verde venía con ciertos desperfectos. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by S***M on 16 February 2016* I received this on time and in a good shape. Besides, the story is great for working on an introduction to literature for children. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RRRRRRRR...IT BE THE SECOND BOOK! *by R***S on 25 September 2013* So, is this as good as the first How to Train Your Dragon book? Well, yes and no. Yes because it gives us more in the background of Hiccup's life, and no because it's more childish. Now I will say that I am 16 so it's not exactly for my age group, but I have spoken to the author and she said that there are a ton of older readers. The books really didn't take off until the movie was released, at least in the United States. I have a feeling the newer books are a little more grown up, but I don't know cause I haven't got to them yet. Once I have I will add an update to this review below. I would say that if you don't mind a little bit of childish potty humor then you should be fine. A few times I was laughing, but only because of some other jokes. Like I said this book is not targeted at my age group, so I didn't suspect teen humor or regular jokes. It is very corky and a quick read. It is a very good kids book and your children will love it. You will love to read it to them because of how different it truly is. I will defiantly continue reading this series in anticipation for the second movie coming out June 13th 2014! ## Frequently Bought Together - HOW TO BE A PIRATE (HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON BOOK 2) - HOW TO SPEAK DRAGONESE (HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON BOOK 3) - HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON (HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON BOOK 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253408420-how-to-train-your-dragon-how-to-be-a-pirate](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/253408420-how-to-train-your-dragon-how-to-be-a-pirate) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
