**Q: why does the product key not working from the CD**
A: You can contact the seller for the product key

**Q: Video and audio seems great but useless as quick time keeps giving message: "cannot record. try again." 
what is the solution to this problem?**
A: If Quick Time Can not record it's because it can not read the format. if you have a computer try sending the data to a folder in your C drive and then record your DVD from there. There are many ways to do that. Keep trying. My personal opinion is that the converter is no good.I purchased one like the one you have and I returned it. If you have a lot of VHS video to convert to digital I suggest getting a different converter. It's a little expensive but it's good. The bran name is {El Gato}

**Q: Why are my videos suddenly in black and white? It was in color now it suddenly isn't. Tried reconnecting the cables but still the same**
A: I had the same problem as you described. I solved the problem by using a video DVD recorder to increase the resolution of the video output.
The connections are:
1) The VHS player output to the video DVD input 
2) The DVD recorder output connects with the converter

**Q: Is it compatable with Windows 11 also?**
A: As long as the software you use recognizes it.  I think OBS Studio will recognize it and it’s free.
