This will NOT act as a sealant. 2. Color dyed leather is the worst for bleeding, so you want to condition the leather and wax/rub the residual color/dye off. Apply a generous amount of Bick4 and use a minimal amount of pressure. Allow to it dry and remove it. You will be happy with the end result. 3. I use it on my three thousand dollar Italian crocodile dress shoes and I use it on my bags. It's the Best. **Q: Will this work on a bright red leather?** A: I haven't noticed any discolorations on yellow, red, brown or black leathers. The liquid itself is thin, like a light lotion, so it soaks in nicely.I gave the bottle a good shake, just like the directions say.I poured some onto a clean, white cloth and rubbed it into all three items, making sure to cover the entire surface.I let it sit for about 15 minutes to fully absorb.Finally, I took a second, clean cloth and buffed the leather to finish it off.The Results (Why I Love It)No Color Change (Huge Win!): This was my biggest concern, especially with the light tan boots, and it passed with flying colors.
