"Test your and others' travelling nous and amass as many photos as possible with Backpacker, a new card game designed with the globetrotter and armchair traveller in mind" The Independent on Sunday (Get This section). "The perfect gift for someone about to set off on a gap year" The Observer (Gifts section). "Portable, competitive and fun, so stick it in your luggage for fun on the road" Wanderlust (Checkout section) "A great alternative to Travel Scrabble" Real Travel magazine "It has an impulse buy quality because it has all the things that families like in a game - brightly coloured, hard wearing cards and easy to learn rules. A neat game to be popped into your pocket and taken on holiday or to a friend's house" Games Gazette (Game reviews) "A portable card game inspired by real backpacking experiences" The Sunday Herald (Travel gadgets) "Backpacker is a card game for 2-6 players, revolving around world travel, aimed to appeal to anyone hankering for global meanderings. Just bigger than a normal pack of cards, it's ideal for chucking in the sack and could result in an impromptu snow-bound refuge card party" Adventure Travel magazine Review: Really fun game, really amazing seller - This game is so much fun. It basically has expansion packs within itself, which makes it even better. We started playing with the most simple version, as per the directions, and had a fun time adding the different types of cards. The game is fun to play and it changes a bit with the more people you add to it. I definitely recommend buying this. It's portable, easy to play, and a lot of fun. The only suggestion I have for the makers of the game is to possibly change the photos on the cards. The artwork for the cards is awesome and I love it but the photos just don't fit in with it. I instead wish that the "photos" were the same style of artwork as the rest of the cards and depicted famous scenes from the countries. I think that would look much better. I also want to say that this seller is AMAZING. I placed my order and it was shipped very quickly but the post office lost my package. The seller was so easy to work with in solving that problem and I can't thank them enough. Overall my entire experience with this game and seller is fantastic! Review: Lots of fun, very addictive, highly competitive - This game has provided hours, days, and weeks of fun in my house. The family loves it. Best age range is probably 10 and up (though that's flexible). Cards are durable and have lasted a long time (I've had my deck for 4 years now, and they're starting to show signs of wear). Might be a little confusing at first, but after the first round you'll get the hang of it. It helps to have someone that already knows how to play explain the rules, the instructions are a bit lengthy. Well worth it though. Side-note: game is very competitive. ## Features - The only game about travelling around the world that is small enough to take with you. - Just like traveling, it's fun, exciting, fast changing and very addictive. - Ideal travel game for a family holiday, gap year or big trip and gift for globetrotters, travellers, students and teenagers. As a traveler, I wanted to love it, sadly, it was more tedious than waiting in a passport control line with screaming babies. I will be dropping this off at the good will. ## Frequently Bought Together - Backpacker - The Ultimate Travel Game - Fun Pocket Sized Card Game About Travelling Around The World - Hasbro Gaming Monopoly Deal Card Game, Quick-Playing Card Game for 2-5 Players, Game for Families and Kids, Ages 8 and Up (Amazon Exclusive) - CATAN The Struggle Card Game | Card Game for Adults and Family | Strategy Card Game | Adventure Card Game | Ages 10+ | for 2 to 4 Players | Average Playtime 25 Minutes | Made Studio --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/25400669-backpacker-the-ultimate-travel-game-fun-pocket-sized-card-game](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/25400669-backpacker-the-ultimate-travel-game-fun-pocket-sized-card-game) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
