Review: Quick diy for old furniture - Amazing product. The back top of my dinjing chairs was all scratched and eaten by my kids so i just tried this spray on it after using sand paper on it. Sprayed it 3 times with 20 minute break to dry it and final look is so smooth that my chairs are as good as new. Would definitely buy and try other colors for my furniture.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I'd like to use this topcoat over white chalked paint. One contributor said this may yellow the finish. Any experience?**
A: Using several coats of wax made for chalk paint will be the best option to preserve the paint and make it easy to clean. 3 coats should be good. You can use all different colors of wax finish too for aging effects, distressing, shadowing, etc. best part is, you can paint over the wax with more chalk paint without having to remove anything. I do recommend a light sanding between coats with 220 grit sandpaper
 Helps to give a smooth, clean finish that is MUCH easier to maintain.

**Q: How much surface area did it cover? Trying to figure out how much I'll need.**
A: Read the description!  Max area = 12 sq ft.

**Q: How Do You Wash It?**
A: From yourself? Soap and water. Or do you mean wipe the item painted down once dry for a few days? Damp towel.

**Q: What type of prep is required?  I have a metal copper colored decorative birdcage. I was hoping to spray this right over.**
A: No prep. I sprayed over a black iron candle holder and it came out great.
