Many others are <500g in alloys. What gives?** A: They are heavy. I had to modify and force them into my felt handle bars. **Q: What is the difference between the T3+ and the T4+?** A: The angle of the bend is shallower in the T4+. Personally more bend is better for my wrists - that's why I swapped out my Slice's bars to these. Wrists were fine during IMAZ! **Q: I have a feltvr6. the handlebar's diameter is between 33-34mm. will these aero bar clamps work on this diameter?** A: They spec at Clamp Diameter: 31.8mm . So your bars may be just outside of spec. Measure again with calipers? I use these 70mm risers that put me in the same position (hip angle) as being in the drops of the handlebars the aerobars are mounted to. And much, much, more comfortable than being in the drops for 30 miles. That small change made a big difference in comfort. The two smartest things I did in hindsight was getting the pistol grip type bars and getting myself used to being as low as possible with road bars before transitioning to the aero's.The pistol grips fall naturally into my hands and I use them to pull against my pedal strokes when going up grades for extra power.It would be hard to state the mph difference the aero bars make. Sometimes it feels like a full mile per hour. But it's probably closer to a half, average. I can't even approach the same aero advantage they give unless I'm in the curve of the drops and kissing the stem. Just don't expect the same aero advantage you get from drafting another rider.I don't draft other riders anymore, and I've found some riders take offense to someone being a wheel sucker. I stay at least a bike length back if I'm following.I don't mind if other riders draft me though.(The pit maneuver works in reverse for bicycles by the way).The aero bar advantage is accumulative during to whole ride though. Both in comfort and efficiency. And the length of my rides have increased from 26 to 30 miles since riding with aero bars.I have heard that some riders have aero bars and don't use them most of the time.But for me, unless I'm doing something where I need to be out of them, I notice the difference in wind resistance right away, and want to get back into them.Paid $159 for them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE these. *by B***E on June 2, 2016* I LOVE these...I replaced my older T3 Aluminum bars (after a nasty crash) with these and installed the additional height adjuster and wow what a difference. I used to only use the Aero bars to rest my back/neck on downhill's, now I'm able to actually peddle and work when in the aero position. I'm no professional, I didn't get a pro bike fit when I bought my road bike and maybe I should have let a shop install the original bars, but these with the height adjuster are amazing. I rode my normal 23 mile route yesterday and shaved off 3 minutes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kind of In Love, Mostly *by M***A on May 14, 2016* These have got to be the most comfortable aero bars I've used. I don't know why, but the design seems extra stable! I seriously find myself in tuck climbing hills, just enjoying the change in position! The pads velcro on now, and I prefer that as well.If there are cons to these bars, it is that the pads don't fold up and at the stock height, they block most of the flat of the handlebar.
