**Q: i lost the recipes to make a cake in the gingerbread house pan, can I get theses recipes online?  If not how long do you cook the cake and at what degree in the oven?**
A: Nordic Ware gingerbread House comes with the Recipe to make the Cake, I am sure there are many Recipes for Gingerbread Cake on Line. I have an Old Oven, I used 325F Degrees and it took maybe 55 to 66 minutes, every Oven is Different, I don't know yours! ...I do have to cover the Cake with Aluminum Foil half way through the Baking or it would Brown too Fast! ...If this answer was of any help to you, consider to give me your Vote, click Yes or No under my Review.Thank You

**Q: How do you put this in the oven without it tipping over for baking?  I don't see it balancing on a cookie sheet**
A: This is an extremely unstable baking pan.  Nordicware is a great company--I'm surprised that the pan was not constructed with stabilizers in the corners to keep it from tipping over.  We learned this the hard way--it fell over on our oven rack, and when we tried to get it out it turned over the rest of the way and completely emptied itself all over the oven.   I have no idea how anyone could recommend using it without a cookie sheet underneath!

**Q: What kind of nonstick coating is being used?**
A: Here is what Nordic Ware says about their non-stick coatings in an FAQ on their website: "The nonstick coatings that Nordic Ware uses on all of its cookware and bakeware products are formulated to our specifications and produced in the USA by coatings companies that also supply the medical, military, foodservice and aerospace industries. We've chosen our suppliers because of their ability to meet our very precise quality standards. The coatings we use vary based on what type of food they will be releasing, and what temperatures the cooking vessel will reach.Our bakeware coatings are and have always been PTFE and PFOA-free, since an entirely different formulation is necessary to release sugars (associated with baking) than proteins (associated with meats and dairy).Our cookware coatings can be one of several formulations, depending on what substrate material they're being applied to (cast aluminum versus aluminized steel). We are able to state that PFOA is not present in any of the coating formulations that we currently use on consumer cookware products. PTFE (an entirely different compound than PFOA) is the material that gives nonstick surfaces their "slipperiness" and is widely used in consumer cookware coatings, including many of Nordic Ware's stovetop cookware products.Teflon ® is a registered trademark of DuPont and refers to a specific nonstick coating that they exclusively manufacture. **Q: i completely lost the instructions for this gingerbread house pan, did it say i should be placing the pan on a cookie sheet?  or straight on a oven rack?**
A: Dear Natalie...I am sorry it took me so long to get this letter sent to you. I don't read my emails very often and just now found your question.I personally recommend putting the gingerbread house pan on a cookie sheet just in case it were to tip over while you were baking it.  I don't have the instructions anymore so I don't know what the company that made the pan recommends.  Let me know if that works for you.  Good luck with your baking.
