Some of the fruit (apricots, especially) are true to normal size, but dried and that's a bit too large for my birds, so I cut them up to make them more palatable and easily enjoyable. Probably most of the things included in this food would be best as is for larger birds, but it's still a nice selection for my birds and I don't mind a little more work to make it right. I didn’t give it 5 stars because our 2nd bag has a lot of apple peels in it which seems to be sticky so the mix doesn’t seem to be as free flowing as the first bag. I would believe this is a filler product, which I understand but disappointed with this bag. I will purchase a 3rd bag and hope that one is the same as the first.
