These things are made to crash. Many of the track sets are crash sets. I do not think any case would be a problem for these cars. I have cars 20 years old and old match box cars that have been placed in plastic buckets that still look new. **Q: Can this hold the Hot Wheels monster trucks?** A: Don't worry about it holding monster trucks. It holds no car in place. Only one divider that doesn,t even hold one side in place (unless you find away to keep your finger/hand inside the case while closing) Soon as you want to close the case cars spill out everywhere. Very frustrating for a 6 year old boy and his Grandma. We can't return or risk that the person that gave it as X-mas present is disappointed as well having chosen a personalized gift instead of gift card. **Q: What are the dimensions and how heavy is it?** A: It's lightweight, but durable, plastic. I don't have it handy to do dimensions (gift for Christmas to my nephew), but I'd say 14 x 18 and 3" deep. The little cars fit in nose or bumper first. Each slot will hold a couple little cars and it fits 30 of them at least, I'd think. Good carrying size/weight for a kid. Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hot Wheels 48-Car Storage Case – Durable Plastic Carrying Case with Handle for Die-Cast Toy Cars, Fits 1:64 Scale Vehicles, Organizer for Kids Travel & Display - Hot Wheels Toy Cars & Trucks 10-Pack, Set of 10 1:64 Scale Vehicles, Includes Race Cars, Semi, Rescue or Construction Trucks (Styles May Vary) - Hot Wheels Toy Cars, 10-Pack of Race Cars, Includes 1:64 Scale Corvette, Lamborghini, McLaren Originals --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/256668-tara-toys-hot-wheels-48-car-storage-case-durable-plastic](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/256668-tara-toys-hot-wheels-48-car-storage-case-durable-plastic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
