The Medium is the Massage

Waste of time. Self-indulgent nonsense from this male American. Much was made of Marshall Macluhan decades ago and I left it a bit (too?) late to catch up. Read it, threw it away, won’t take up valuable space on my bookshelves.

I wish I had read this in 1970s (when it was on my reading lists) and I wish every politician, social-worker and technologist would read it now. The paradigm shift for society was predicted (already happening!) and 'We' have tried to ignore the social aspects of it ever since!

Meaningless drivel. Even someone on acid would find this boring.

The quirky style of this book might not suit everyone but is surprising, and mentally stimulating. I loved it. It has been a talking point among friends.

If you haven't read it you probably should.
