I recently purchased both the satin makeup base as well as the concealer. The satin base does not have an effect on the oiliness, neither positive nor negative (it doesn't make it better or worse). I always use a pressed powder after applying my concealer as this helps a lot with my oily T-zone and cheeks. The satin base does NOT make my skin oilier though.
