Before purchasing these, my best ones were the Costco/Kirkland Signature Ultra Pile Yellow/Gold Towels which might be more in the 300-350gsm range (newly learned knowledge on microfiber towels...). They are absolutely fantastic at absorbing water and wiping away wax, polish, etc...CONS: It does leave behind some lint. Not a bunch of small lint, more like 1 or 2 larger lint balls that isn't too hard to wipe way on your next pass.NEED TO REVIEW STILL: what will happen after i prewash with soap & water, then a cold wash in the machine and most likely hang dry (over using the dryer...still deciding).
