I was looking around for things and saw a video that led me to this product. My E3Pro already had the 4.2.7 board but i figured since i was changing the screen too, this came pre-flashed with everything needed. One of the biggest things for me was i did all the upgrades at once. The biggest change i made other than this board + screen was the sprite pro extruder.When i initially received the product, it was not working correctly. Probably because i changed everything out at once so i was not sure what the actual issue was. But the issue i had regarding this product specifically was that the screen did not show as it is on the pictures and the printer was not mechanically operating correctly at all. I read the documents on the google drive and downloaded and flashed what i thought was the correct files but was still having problems. I contacted their Customer Support, showed them pictures, explained the issues, and told them what i have done to my printer. They linked me the correct files to use and explained what needed to be done and a few alterations i needed to make to my printer physically. Now that all that is done, the screen is working perfectly fine and so much better than the old ender 3 pro mini screen.In the end, if i wouldnt have changed everything at once and i still had the regular E3Pro extruder and hotend, i probably wouldnt of had any of the issues. It's always best to do upgrades in stages so you can know what the problem is when it happens. But in the end, if there are issues, customer support is a big deal for any product and i am happy to say F1RST LAYER's customer support was a great help. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Performs great, and looks awesome *by J***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2021* Replaced the basic screen on the ender 3 pro with this color display. It looks great and functions better than the original screen. The scroll wheel moves numbers better than the old screen. Makes it easier to dial in numbers. Like when setting nozzle or bed temps, on the old screen if you went fairly slow it worked well. This on you can spin much faster and it keeps up better. I'm guessing the screen has a better refresh rate and has nothing to do with the actual knob. I chose use use TH3D firmware, but I plan to go back and try the creality firmware as I'm sure it will work just as easily.One minor issue I had was trying to flash the screen's firmware. When done correctly the screen should switch to blue then shortly after change to orange and stay. The first time I tried it only went orange and never did the blue screen. I believe this lies in the format on the memory card. When I formated it for the second try I changed the memory allocation to 4096kb instead of the default 32kb and plugged the card back in and I then got the blue screen and then onto the orange. Also make sure you have the firmware for the screen in it's correct folder when moving to the memory card.Other than that the swap was very simple. All the needed screws and the bracket for the 40x40 extrusion were included. The screen itself does nothing function wise for the machine, it runs just fine with the old screen, it just looks much better and the color is a nice touch.The 4.2.7 board does make the machine function better. It is silent now other than the noise of the fans, but it is much quieter than the machine when it came stock. I also have the creality tent enclosure so I don't hear the machine at all. If you plan on upgrading the board I would recommend this kit for your ender 3/pro and enjoy the new screen as well. F1rst layer has top notch customer service as well. I had reached out to them about a question and by the next morning they had gotten back to me and provided the information I needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars DONT PLUG IN THE NON LABLED WIRES *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2024* I installed this on my Ender 3 Pro. The board and screen install is very easy but there are 2 wires that are not labeled. DO NOT PLUG THEM IN. Leave them unplugged. If you plug them in your screen will turn on but freeze on power on screen and never go to the menu. Luckily I reached out to the seller "F1rst Layer" and they quickly resolved this issue with me.
