Unofficially, use at your own risk. Many people have used a 10440 cell and has not damaged their light. Others reported it worked fine initially but then would no longer work with an alkaline or nimh. I briefly tried a 10440 when I got my tool aaa just to see if it worked and it did but went back to an eneloop for longer run times. **Q: What's the difference between black lens and black reflector in the colors?** A: I don't understand the question. How is black involved? The reflector is silver, the lens is clear. The lens in this latest model has a bunch of tiny bubbles, or mini lenses, molded into the plastic. The beam is more even that that of earlier models. I thought my earlier ones were perfect. This newer one is more perfect. **Q: Can a protected 10440 cell (slightly longer than AAA) be used?** A: Hello there, a protected 10440 cell can not be used with Tool AAA. It might damage the light. So does an unprotected 10440 cell. Please contact us freely if there is anything we can be helpful. Thank you. **Q: Anyone have trouble with the key ring fitting? Mine was way too thick and would not move freely** A: I did not have that problem. ## Frequently Bought Together - LUMINTOP Tool AAA Waterproof Flashlight, 130 Lumens, IPX-8, TIR Lens, 3 Output Modes, Memory Function, Battery Powered - LUMINTOP Tool AA 2.0 EDC Flashlight, Pocket-Sized Keychain Flashlight, Super Bright 650 Lumens, 5 Modes with Mode Memory, IP68 Waterproof LED Torch for Camping Hiking Emergency - LUMINTOP Pocket-Sized Super Bright Flashlight Set Tool AA 2.0 EDC Flashlight with Magnetic Tail and 920mah Rechargeable Battery, 650 Lumens, 5 Modes with Mode Memory, Waterproof Torch for Camping --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/261439111-tool-aaa-waterproof-flashlight-130-lumens-ipx-8-tir-lens](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/261439111-tool-aaa-waterproof-flashlight-130-lumens-ipx-8-tir-lens) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
