A perfect gift for young readers! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for early readers *by S***A on January 4, 2026* These were perfect for my nephew when he was learning to read ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for my 5 year old! *by E***A on January 26, 2018* My 5 year old is moving beyond the one word reading stage and I bought these along with 'little readers' to transition her to reading sentences. Both are a success, but these ones are a little more exciting to her because she knows the characters and they have more of a story. She reads them 95% independently, compared to ~90% independently for the Little Readers (level C). The sentence structure and plot is actually more advanced I think, but there are essentially no words longer than 6 letters, except Brother. Little Readers, on the other hand relies more an repetition and short sentences to teach but includes some longer words. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. If you think the example pages are too advanced for your little one, I suggest working on single words first. There are lots of great tools out there to each sounding out 3 and 4 letter words one at a time.
