In asymmetric audio, noise rejection depends primarily on the effectiveness of shielding at audio frequencies. The LC-2 features two high coverage copper braid shields, overlapping, providing excellent coverage, optimal shielding performance and low ground resistance at both ends. Thanks to its small central conductor and large foam dielectric, the LC-2 offers a low capacitance of about 39 pF/mmeter, thus limiting the attenuation of high frequencies. These cables are equipped with the RCA Taversoe plug, a brass model with gold-plated contact surfaces and a leaf spring ground contact for a firm connection with the jack. LC-2 cables are assembled in our workshop in Seattle, Washington. ## Features - Unique design: The LC-2 is not a standard cable. We designed it specifically to optimize unbalanced analog audio (RCA) performance, with coaxial geometry, reduced capacity, and superior shielding than any conventional coaxial cable. - Reinforced Shielding: The LC-2 is shielded with two high-coverage bare copper braids, superimposed on each other.
