## Description

DIYSELF 8 Pack Box Cutter Retractable Utility Knife, 9mm Wide Blade | Box Cutters Bulk for Cardboard, Packages, Paper, Snap-Off Blades Razor Knife, Navajas para Trabajo, Disposable Box Opener - desertcart.com

Review: The Best! - I have used many brands of these mini snap blade utility knives, including sets from dollar tree, till they quit carrying them. Recently, an expensive regular size utility knife i had, quit retracting, and became unusable, so had to throw that out. Decided to try these mini knives; so glad I did! Can't beat the price for a set of $5.99 for an 8 pack. Love the bright colors too. These are super sharp, strong, durable, the blade retracts smoothly and easily. I have used these for opening packages (cardboard boxes,) and they cut right through the tape holding the box together, (easy to fold the cardboard for recycling the box.) Wonderful product, probably won't need to order more for awhile; still on one knife from the set I ordered,. Love the snap blades; saves money and time having to buy blades separately and put into knife. I use a pair of snip nose pliers to snap the perforated blade off when it becomes dull, and continue to use knife with new blade. What a handy little tool! I prefer these mini utility knifes to the regular/larger sized knives. Bravo DIYSELF!
Review: Extremely Useful and Great to Have Everywhere! - This 8-pack of utility knives has been surprisingly handy! I originally bought them for opening packages, but now I keep one in the kitchen, office, garage, and even the car. They’re lightweight, compact, and the retractable blades make them safe to store anywhere. The 9mm blades are sharp and perfect for all kinds of tasks — breaking down boxes, cutting paper, doing small craft projects, and opening packaging without damaging what’s inside. I love that they come in multiple colors so everyone in the house can easily grab their own. For the price, this is a fantastic value. These cutters are useful, reliable, and perfect to have on hand for everyday jobs. Highly recommend if you want simple, effective box cutters that just get the job done!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this work like an exacto knife?**
A: Cross a box cutter and an Exacto knife and this would be the result. It's probably not as good as either for their intended job, but they are a decent substitute. The blade isn't as stiff as an Exacto knife blade, so isn't as durable, but it is at least as sharp. I love them and carry them instead of a jackknife.

**Q: How to take out the back to snap? off blade**
A: I use a pair of plyers and the end of the blade snaps off and the sharp next blade is ready to use. Each knife has a lot of blades to snap off.

**Q: Does the black thumb button separate slightly to lock in place ?**
A: It doesn't really separate but it locks in place as you slide it up and down.

**Q: Would these be strong enough to constantly cut open zip ties?**
A: I would not trust anything like this product to be safe for that use. Not saying these are poor quality, they are great for box cutting and the like. It takes alot of force to cut a zip tie, I use a wire cutter, much safer.
