Review: works great, good condition - I like the gameboy color because its a nice size, and this one had the battery cover in the same color as the body, which is nice because I hear the battery cover falls off of some, but you can get replacements. the only thing I didn't realize when I purchased is that the screen is not backlit, so you need a good light source when you are playing, i.e. the screen doesn't light up so you can't play in the dark. the screen on this one was in pretty good condition, it had some minor shallow scratches, but doesn't hinder playing at all and they could probably be buffed out with some toothpaste or something, but they don't bother me so I have just left them. This was a toy of my youth and given the fact he has all the modern video game consoles, a GB seemed like we were stepping way back in history! The GB was exactly as described. It had only slight scratches and still had the original screen protector intact! It worked right out of the box and we've had no problems at all with it or any of the cartridges we have used. My son has had a lot of fun playing with this and it's been nice to see him transition away from the computer, iphone and game consoles to play this.
