This two-piece projector mount features easy installation. It has a total of 12 adjustment points (6 for pitch and 6 for roll) that allows the projector to stay in place and not slip after the installation. Depending on your mounting surface, different length of pipes and adapters (sold separately) must be purchased to complete the installation of this projector mount. This projector mount is made of aluminum/high-grade cold rolled steel with scratch resistant epoxy powder coat finish. The QualGear was specified to hold 74 pounds I believe it, the fully adjustable rails are thick and sturdy. The set screws do not damage the finish when you torque them down. The directions are clear for the most part but I did need to turn the pipe thread mount 90 degrees to mount the projector from the side. FYI this will not reach all screws of some Epson models as Epson puts one of there screw holes in almost the center of the projector. I wound up using a 3rd screw hole not intended for support but it worked out anyway. None of this was the fault of the mount. I should have done my homework better. I know you could spend a lot more, but I'm hard-pressed to imagine what more you would want from a projector mount. This one is a major improvement over my previous mount that seemed less than solid in the way it supported the projector.
