And after our daughter was cleared of her peanut allergy, we still continued to use this as a family. While some will prefer nut butters with nothing added, I think the touch of organic cane sugar and salt enhance the flavor greatly, and the little bit of palm oil (which is a healthy oil) makes the texture so creamy that it’s dreamy. I love adding a spoonful to a bowl of oatmeal for a kick of protein, spreading g it on crackers or bread, or just eating it with a spoon. It also makes amazing almond butter cups. A candy mold, some melted fair trade chocolate, and a dollop of this stuff makes a heavenly confection.
