They are lightweight and do not bend the book that I am reading. The charge on them last a good week for me. I like the fact that it has two lights instead of one. The single light units cast weird shadows. I think the brightness of these would be good for other uses as well. Perhaps looking under car seats, working on a sink, searching under couches. The clip is sturdy and keeps your hands free to turn pages or look for lost items. Also, if you were to make a bee type of costume these could be clipped on a headband for intinas.
