I don't have a medical need for them, but I often wear plastic pants instead of regular underwear, mostly because I love how they feel, but I also enjoy the security they provide. They're well-fitted, they have wide comfortable elastics, and they’re made from a unique material that's very different from the PVC often used to make plastic pants. It's probably the loudest but again, not by much. If you follow the size chart carefully, you can't go wrong. They're sized perfectly with room left over for padding. The legs are properly positioned and snug, but not tight. The elastics are thick and very comfortable. The waist is generous but not too high and perfect for daytime use. They wouldn't normally show with any of the pants I usually wear unless I deliberately pull them up higher. Thanks to the interior coating, these are fairly easy to clean. I normally wipe them down well after use and they come pretty clean. The elastics aren't as easy to clean by hand, so I do machine launder them on occasion, which they tolerate well. But the gentler you treat them, the longer they will last. If you’re looking to try plastic pants for the first time, I probably can't say enough good things about these -- they're my absolute favourite. They're a fun and practical alternative to conventional underwear. Whether you want to wear them on their own or with a diaper, these are absolutely worth a try.
