Does it have a good spread or does it just trickle to the floor with very little spread.** A: I bought this 5 years ago and only use for salt in the winter, the metal frame finally gave out in the beginning of the 6th winter. Spreads salt fine as long as the wheels turn. Not great for built up ice pack on driveway. Works great for normal use at home. **Q: Does it say where this spreader is made?** A: The spreader is made in California. **Q: would it work well for powdered lime?** A: I have been using the Scott's classic drop spreader for 6 years and it works great for powered lime on setting #14 **Q: Will this work for snow salt too?** A: It should but salt would probably have to be applied before it snows. It might be difficult to roll in more than a small covering of snow.
