YOU NEED TO KEEP AIR OUT, what I use is a screw that will fit snug in to the tip hole, then make a aluminum foil cone over that. A small wooden dowel that fits in to the tip hole. Anything that will keep air out **Q: Why does the Amazon photo say it is "self-leveling" but under "Usage" say it is non-leveling? Are products sent labeled the same way?** A: No. There may be an error in the Amazon foto. There are two DIFFERENT Dicor products. Each is labeled self labeling or non leveling on the tube. Self leveling is used for lateral sealing ie. on your roof. Non- leveling is used for verticle sealing ie. where the sides of your RV meet the end cap. I've used it for years and it does a good job. **Q: Will it adhere to the rubber roof material?** A: Yes it will and works perfect for the project.
