**Q: Will the ramp work also double as a lightweight ramp to load bicycles into a Jeep ?**
A: Too rough a surface. Just get a 6 foot board.

**Q: Is the Jack base clipped into the boards or separate?**
A: Clipped in. Can also be removed and used to connect both together for one long board.

**Q: Is the jack base compatible with a standard bottle jack?**
A: As long as the base of the jack is flat then yes

**Q: Looking at the video, how do these boards help the driver who got "stuck" in 2wd switch to 4wd when it drives out of its ruts?**
A: I’m not sure I completely understand the question, but we have 4WD. We only have one set (2) boards. I always use on rear. You will need to dig out the sand some to get these as close to bottom of tire as possible to ‘get up on them’. Use the straps to find them as they will get buried.

Superb construction, ultra portable! I always wanted a traction board but no space in my subie to accommodate one. This setup is PERFECT!!! I can use it in pair or as a single long plank, super easy to store at half the size of other traction boards out there, the material composition of this board is also a bit different than the others, it uses a special plastic polycaprolactam (PA6) that is stronger and more UV stable and has a wider range of working temperature, it is important if you are going to keep this board outside of your vehicle or to help you get out of snow in a cold weather...I also like the center connecting piece that can be used as the base for your bottle jack.. I tried with my scissor jack and the base of my jack fits perfectly within the jack base but if your scissor jack is not able to fit inside the "square" of jack base I suggest you not to risk it.

I haven’t had to use them yet, but I’m impressed with the quality. Very thick and sturdy material and looks and feels like it can handle the weight and abuse of recoveries of any offroad vehicle. The bag that comes with it is also great.I compromised with the short version so it can fit in the back of the jeep where it always resides.
