Can't figure out how to clip down the outer side of cushion. Can't use auto seat knobs.** A: The front clips can only be used with a manual seat. They hook onto the bar that you use to move your seat forward and back. I have a power seat, so I just left the clips hang. You don't really need them anyway; your body holds the seat and place perfectly. **Q: What is the difference between the zone tech car cooling seat and the zone tech premium car cooling seat? Are they made of different materials?** A: We have 2 zone tech cooling seat covers and they work great. The fan is a little noisy but it's worth it to not be hot and sweaty. **Q: Is the seating material comfortable to sit on? The one I have is a little rough.** A: No it is not rough. Air circulation not great tho **Q: Will this seat operate when the vehicle is off, or must the battery power be on?** A: Depends on your vehicles accessory/lighter socket. Some vehicles shut off the socket when the key is off. Some leave it on. Only way to know is plug something in and see if it works with the key off. If it goes off, a competent mechanic could change it.
