## Description

The aftermarket radio MUST be equipped with a wired remote input (3.5mm headphone style jack or Blue/Yellow wire) to be compatible (ex. a port or wire on the back of the radio labeled W/R, REM, Wired Remote, Remote, Rem Cont etc.). If the radio does not have a wired remote input then you will need to use the SWI-X.Not compatible with Kenwood models: KDC-X598, KDC-BT318U, KDCBT-758-HD, KDCBT-558U & KDC-X798. These models must be used with the SWI-CP5.Clarion model CZ500 does not support remote Bluetooth controlsJVC model numbers KW-NT1 and KW-NT3HDT do not support Presets Up and Down from steering wheel controlsPioneer AVIC-Fxxx radios do not interpret radio preset seeking commands. This is a limitation of the radio not the SWI-RC. There is no correction for this unless it comes from Pioneer.Pioneer radios with Bluetooth feature, the steering wheel controls will not adjust the phone call volume. The phone call volume must be adjusted on the face of the radio. This is a limitation of the radio not the SWI-RC. Its not too bulky and fits behind pretty much any radio. would recommend to anyone looking for affordable module that can adapt to multiple vehicles without spending a fortune.

The Axxess Metra ASWC-1, http://tinyurl.com/ojabpey, would probably be a better fit for your car with nothing else to buy and cheaper than the two PAC products.

A: Not instructions for boss radio

**Q: How much lag time is there, if any, in the controls after installing this (compared to OEM)? And does anyone know if that is Head Unit dependent?**
A: When it works there is no lag time what so ever, it works like one. I've had several issues with the unit itself but like I said when it works, it's awesome. I'm not sure if there could be a lag time depending on HU used.

I used it to have steering control in a customised car that is using a mitsubishi eclipse steerng wheel with a JVC headunit it worked as advertised with the correct dip swtiches setting but if you want to do a custon setup, like I wanted first due to the fact that the eclipse wheel only had 6 buttons and I wanted them personalied, programming the unit is not an easy task in the end I left it as is
