However, after a fairly normal drop onto a wood floor a chunk from the corner of my phone case came off, and a search through reviews shows me I'm not the only one whose case is falling apart after a couple of months. With the missing piece my phone is no longer well-protected if I drop it again. I have to consider replacing a $49 case after two months. NOT happy with quality. **Q: How do they hold to magnet car mounts?** A: The case DOES have a magnet integrated into it, contrary to the previous comment, though it's hard to tell. Breakdowns have proven this. That said, the magnet is so weak as to be useless for anything important. It's far weaker than the magnet you can get for a couple bucks on amazon to manually put between your phone and the back of any cheap case. It is not strong enough to support the phone on a car mount. Mine did kind of hold it but just barely and even without the car moving it eventually fell off. Bottom line is this new "feature" may be useful for helping hold the phone to a "wireless" charger, but its a failed gimmick for anything else. However I went ahead with the purchase and when it was delivered, all the apprehension came to an end. The product was in original packaging. When i opened the case, it was clean and new. While applying it to the iphone, the magesafe was detected by the phone. Cost wise apple products are always on higher side, but they have an edge over any other local products as well. So yes I am satisfied with the purchase.
