## Description

The evil is back. The Exorcist novelist and Academy Award-winning screenwriter William Peter Blatty triumphs again with this spellbinding sequel starring George C. Scott.Year: 1990"'The Exorcist III' is a much better film than either of its predecessors."-- Vincent Canby, New York Times"William Peter Blatty is David Lynch's good twin. He is eccentric, original, funny and daring, but he also has a sense of taste, pace and restraint. Which is by way of saying this is one of the shrewdest, wittiest, most intense and most satisfying horror movies ever made."-- Ralph Novak, People Magazine

Review: Contains "Legion: The Director's Cut" as a bonus - Contains "Legion: The Director's Cut" as a bonus and this made my day. It's such a different film from the theatrical one. Brad Dourif delivers another outstanding performance in this one by playing the character all alone, without swapping out with the priest. The ending was reshot for the theatrical release as well, so if that one seemed forced and out of place, this is why. I liked this version better, but the theatrical release (included as well) was a great film as well, especially considering that Brad Dourif had to reshoot pretty much everything because the original location was no longer available, and he nailed it all a second time. For all the disappointment that part II brought to some, this one makes up for it.
Review: Masterpiece. - This film is phenomenal. Fantastic acting, plot, and scenes that makes your skin crawl. This is Not a perfect movie, however, in that some scenes were long and were used to cut down budget with long continuous scenes and minimal acting, which is an issue; However, it does Not diminish the film in Any way other than the film could have had long meaningless shots cut to be replaced with More Meaningful content. Some scenes worked and built suspense, but others didn't compliment the progression. The characterization, dialogue, and portrayal of these demons, And How they Work which was left ambiguous in the 1st Exorcist and the 2nd exorcist is terrible. How the demons can get around, what they can do, and their abilities In Relationship with God and Religion was portrayed with Excellence in this film. All this said, this film is Not for everyone. This is a Serious, Blunt, Disturbing film that weaker minds wouldn't like to have the memories of. It is frank, and overly descriptive, But the result is Nothing Less than a Masterpiece of cinema and the acting is Superb. Worth Every Cent of my purchase and I am glad I found a video review of this movie so I could reconnect rather than never seeing this film after the Exorcist 2, which Exorcist 2 is, again, a terrible film. I'd recommend Skipping 2 and only seeing 1 and 3 in order.
