A: Yes , this will work just fine and be as durable as others of its type.

**Q: I want to use this as i would paracord to hang tarp/tent but i see different size numbers like #36,#45,#60. Which size is best for all round tasks?**
A: My personal preference is #36.  It's the right combination of strength, size, and weight.  You get plenty of cord per spool, the cord is big enough to work with easily, and enough strength for most tasks.

A: If you order #36 you will get #36, at least I did.
