It's covered in fingerprints and scratches (the disc), and was unreadable. Windows was able to install generic drivers and we were able to use the camera with third party software. There is apparently no software download on the Ostec web site for this camera, just their other products.The IR shield over the camera sensor is covered in fingerprints and is scratched. The scratch is clearly visible when the camera is enabled and the lens is defocused or removed.For our purposes (testing some software that uses a camera, but ultimately not this one), it's fine. We get a picture and it was relatively painless to get it working. But don't expect high quality, don't expect professional delivery standards or working software.We certainly didn't, only paying $90 for this, so in that sense I guess it met expectations. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Could Not Get a Sharp Image *by H***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2014* It works but I could never achieve a sharp focus. I tried it on both the my camera port and the eye piece port. There appeared to be a mismatch of the red/green/blue images as I could see fringes of these colors. The microscope is an AmScope T490B which works fine and has a sharp image. After fiddling with the camera for a few days, I returned it. I am disappointed since I really wanted this camera to work. I tried ordering the 3 MP AmScope Camera and it never arrived even after 4 weeks!!!
