We suggest mixing it with a moisturizing lotion before applying it to the face. **Q: Why can’t you just use lava soap to clean hands & not use a mitt? I have done that for years!** A: I would not recommend using this product without a mitt. It stays on the skin like no other tanning product I have used, which if applied correctly is a wonderful thing! If you are willing to take the risk go ahead and use lava, but again I would recommend the use of a mitt. **Q: Is this the actual loving tan brand?** A: Yes, it is and the application is awesome.
